# Bought an evo to get me around town

Yup, Ryan is a good seller, thanks again for the good deal.
Car has lots of small things, but nothing major. First gear whines really loud, but none of the other gears do, so that makes me think its not the transfer case. The trans will probably need a rebuild, but thats normal for a car that has been beat for 80k. Grinds third if you nail it fast, up shift or down shift. The others feel just fine. The clutch grabs hard, you can chirp the tires with it, so its definitely not slipping.
We pulled out the ricer boost and afr gauges tonight, took out the spare tire, and started cleaning up the little stuff. Next will be to measure the car to make sure the frame is straight. In 6/03 the car was in an accident where frame damages was reported. Looks fine now though, and drives straight, so it was probably fixed. That was when the car had 1,100 miles on it. Stupid drivers.
Its a nice little car around town, its comfy, and fast enough in its stock form :tup:

frame damage? i am curious to see the carfax, i’ve never seen that listed before. is there anyway for you to send it to me?
