This is from like 7 years ago if I recall correctly. The shelf was designed for a walmart but never put in the store because somebody wrote an article about big brother coming to walmart. ---

so were they RFID tagging the packages for inventory control in the store or each razor for some other purpose. I hope most people realize that RFID tagging is common place in any industry where there is a large number and or variety of items to track. ---
