# Brake Bleeding Process

Tips:
Use a turkey baster to remove as much old fluid from the resevoir as possible (makes job go quicker).
Place a brick below brake pedal so that the master cylinder will not get damaged during pumping of the pedal.
Order: Right Rear, Left Rear, Right Front, Left Front.

forgot the actual pumping.
Will need 2 people unless you have a bleeder kit. One person in the car pressing the petal and one at the bleed screw.
Person in car pumps brakes, and pushes petal “ALMOST” to the floor and holds it, the other opens the bleed screw and lets it come out, then when it is no longer moving, closes the screw. The person in the car will then let go of brakes. … continue till you no longer see shit/bubbles in fluid.
Another way of doing it:
The person opens the bleed screw, the person in the car then pushes the petal “ALMOST” to the floor, and other guy then closes the screw, and then the petal is released.
##Remeber to keep the fluid in the resivour about min.
\*i Prefer the later of the 2.

Should the order not be opposite corners starting from the farthest from the master? (RR, LF, LR, RF)
Thats what I seems to recall from my co-op in a shop… correct me if I’m wrong.

Well, it was touched on, but deserves a specific …
Make sure to keep the fluid level up on the master and check frequently.
Suck air into the lines, and you gotta start all over again.
Oh yeah, and get line wrenches. They have more contact points than a standard wrench, so you’re less likely to strip it.
