when you removed the calipers did you block the flex line off in any way or just let the fluid drain out? ---

I’m not sure if someone said it but this sounds very much like a flex line problem. They will bleed fine but feel like air in the system when you apply pressure. You can get someone to check them as you apply the brakes but in some cases you still can’t see it, you need to just change them. ---

We just let it drain. We tested to see if there was anything in the flex line that seemed to be causing trouble. To test if there was anything in that line/system we: First we bled a bit through the caliper to see how it bled and if the problem was in there. Next we bled directly from the bottom of the rubber line (no difference). Then finally directly from the hardline and again, no difference. ---

Im having this same exact problem, but im getting no rear brakes…I’ve replaced the rear calipers, bled the brakes a half dozen times, and still nothing…when you find out what is wrong be sure to post it…Im trying to get this car on the road ---

Check the line running by the pass side frame rail on the inside for cracks and/or leaks. ---

theres no leaks whatsoever…however they are working, but not to full potential…like my pedal does the same thing u described when I would start the car…it goes all mushy and shit, but not when it’s off…weird eh, and I am getting fluid consistently out of every caliper…Im experienced with brakes, but I guess not that experienced to be able to figure this one out ---

Do a brake booster test just to be sure. Have your foot on the pedal while the car is off putting pressure down and holding. Turn car on and if the pedal drops, the booster is ok. ---

ok, mine is fixed…installed new master cylinder, adjusted push rod, and bled …all good now ---
