# brake problem

so this time i get into the great piece of shit and the brake pedal feels hard as a rock, having felt this before i turn it on expecting it to get softer, wrong it stays hard as a rock.
I can bring the car to a stop but i have to press really hard and i cant lock up my wheels. Also when i step on the pedal i hear like a swishing noise coming from in the dash, there is no fluid leaking from anywhere.
Wondering if anyone can tell me wtf is going on.

also i forgot when the car is stopped at a light it idles at 800-900 rpm, when i have to step on the breaks, rpm jump to about 1500 and will stay there until i take my foot off the brakes.

check all vacuum lines. if they are fine…
brake booster.
period. 100% positive

also if you swapd a motor in or did work to the car check the check valve to the booster
