The bell housing of my th-400 is completely cracked around the top 4 mounting bolt holes. Is this fixable, or should I try to get a new case and have the internals swapped or just by a new th-400? :mad: ---

Cut the bell off and replace it with a blow proof bell from JW Transmissions. ---

Its one piece all the way to the tail shaft, where does this unit mount if I cut and where do I cut? ---

3 questions? price?, and the convertor would come out and then cut I guess relativly close to the 7 bolt holes, or get a case from tci, ---

ya your just cutting the bell off of the 400 case. And then the new bell bolts on with the bolt that hold the front pump in the tranny ---

Ill take it just incase this ultra bell doesn;'t work.
