# Buffalo Zoo or Local Aquariums....

I have not gone to the zoo in over a decade. is it worth it? Do they have decent displays? What about the NF aquarium? Has anyone gone? Worth the $ to go and check it out?

If you actually are going to see animals, the Buffalo Zoo isn’t that bad.
I actually need to take a trip there myself. I haven’t been there since i stopped working there and need to check out their new exhibits

The Buffalo Zoo is doing a lot of construction for a new rainforest exhibit which won’t be done for at least a year.
You’re better off going after Memorial Day. That’s when they open up all the animal feeding places, which is pretty cool. Lorikeet Landing is sweet if you don’t mind birds. You can feed them, and they’ll land right on you lol
Toronto is amazing too. But it will take you a whole day to look at everything.

I went to the Toronto Zoo a few years ago. It took my ex and I the whole day to see MOST of the zoo. Very nice though.

i think the zoo is a great place to take a date. polar bears are the shit. sat there for 3 hours laughing at them cuz they loved to put on a show. only bad thing about taking a date there is the smell of animal poo\>cologne

Oh and an FYI for people going to the zoo. Wear a teal/bluish green shirt. A lot of the animals know the color shirt all the workers wear and always thought any of us were coming to give them food. So a lot of times if you wear that color shit the animals will respond to you or atleast some times get them to come out into the open so you can see them better.
