Looks like they are basically recycling a lot of stuff that has already been developed to get back into the 4 door RWD “muscle” sedan market. So relative to engineering a new vehicle the cost can’t be that bad.

It’s probably actually that forced induction V6 they are supposedly working on. The RPO code for the 4 cam 3.6 DFI motors in the camaros is LLT. Atleast that would be my best guess.

Its going on the Alpha platform that the new ATS is based, not converting the current chassis to RWD.

The car is a t/t 3.6 lt based off of the caddy cts platform . Should be a quick car and a great setup as long as they get a better timing chain in it .

They give it the lt1 name cause every other lt1 was a semi minor change to a current motor that brought out huge results . Just like the solid roller ltwon back in the day ,made way more stock power than a base 5.7 lt , the 2nd gen ltwon was lightyears better than a t.p.I setup and this one is far better than a ls3 …

A low production gnx would be sick, wouldn’t give a fuck if it had 13 doors.
