So, we have two baths in the house. My wife uses one, I use the other. I don’t even go in her bathroom, I get annoyed by all the girly stuff all over the place. I am going to build a mans bathroom, that is simple and an oasis for men. I’m going to share some ideas I had, and see if you guys could help me out. It is a small bathroom, with a tub/shower sink with vanity, and toilet. Nothing special. So here is some of the stuff I am thinking of doing, or have already done. – Old school barber shop products. You know, the clubman powder, the barbicide disinfectant jar. Hair tonics, old spice. – Good razors, I bought a bunch of 6 blade razors from dorco, and put them in a metal tin. – Fog free mirror in the shower, for shaving. – Upgraded toilet, my house has the builder grade toilet and it is not great. Also I am looking at getting a water powered bidet attachment for the toilet. – Nice classic magazine rack, filled with gun magazines, and stuff like that. – Decent color paint on the walls, and a nice shower curtain. Possibly convert shower to a steam shower. – I also bought the towels for hot towels on my face before shaving. I use vix vaporub on the towels and run it under hot water before using. This is what my barber does. I don’t have a ton of money, so major remodeling would not be in the budget. I have always wanted a urinal in the bathroom, and a tv built into the mirror but that will wait for my larger house in the future, lol. What do you guys think? ---

I’d say no on the urinal, can’t imagine that being great for resale IMO. Just get a high powered toilet that can take off your hat. I’d go with the Safety Razor or Straight Razor setup. ---

Urinal would be great in a garage. Get some really modern countertops, mirrors, faucets and tile flooring, all matching with a decent wall color, def. look sharp. - - - Updated - - - Walk in showers are baller too, big ol’ shower head, awesome stream of water ---

Yeah urinal just seems tacky. Personally, I want one of those touchless flush mechanisms on an elongated bowl. That toilet with the automatic opening / closing top is cool too. ---

Consider me uncultured or something, but why bidet? Nothing like a wet ass and balls after a steamy shit? No thanks. Please, I am open to discussion on this, as I have never used a bidet. How do you get dry afterwards? Educate me. ---
