Fire pit on the left of a nice cherry wood deck leading to the jacuzzi on the right? 🙂
They can start themselves on fire and then run and hop into the water to put themselves out. Problem solved :tup:

and them …the deck that is there now is getting rebuilt this year
I also was just told the fireplace was put on 35 years ago and is not attached to the house any way and if I wanted I could pull it down with a chain and truck…

perfect spot for a porch, BUT based on my calculations the porch faces north, be sure to use engineered wood so it doesnt breed mildew as easily

based on the fact that I don’t see gutters I would say the foundation/base bricks have either deteriorated from standing water and/or the ground beneath it has washed away. I think if you had someone come in and sure up the foundation you’d be fine.
The brick looks like a good candidate for sealant. Like I said you can use a “good” pressure washer on it and then a brick sealer.
If you want to save the fireplace it seems very doable. I’d have to see the flue to know for sure.
