# bumper cover install

does anyone know if a 91-94 240 bumper cover will fit on a '89 240? If so,then how do you go about removing the old one and installing the new one. thanx a lot!

Yes, they fit. It’s a simple unbolt and rebolt operation with exception to the indicator lights. They require some rewiring as the 89-90’s don’t have those lights.

did you have problems with breaking bolts? how many bolts all together?

There are IIRC 5-7 on each side 4 on top under the hood and four inside the center part. Now as far as braking them i broke all mine because i was in a hurry. Take your time lube them once a day for a week and you should be good to go. Right now mine is being held on by JDM zipties as wel as my fenders. Oh ya and before i forget the bumpers dont line up at the bottom with the fender you need to get the fender flares off a 91+ to make it match.

not really fender flares… fender bottom moulding i would call it
