Think the bottom end is still good in this? I am still snooping around for something to fix this c5 i have. Looks like it would be more work to clean melted plastic off than it’s worth. I doubt it would be any good… ---

i had a motor from a fire i cleaned it up and rebuilt it and it was fine. but with aluminum head and block i would be hesistant. look on [www.ls1tech.com](http://www.ls1tech.com) or see what brian has available. there are always shortblocks for sale. ---

some goo gone and a hose will clean it right up. After that, run some seafoam thru it and call it a day. ---

I’ve use motor like this & had good luck with them!(only if water didnt get in it from not being coverd)! ---
