You would be better off with a $2500 rebate so you aren’t paying interest on that $2500.
You are essentially paying interest on gas money, making it more expensive.
(You can thank Dr. Greenspan for raising rates again yesterday.:bloated: )
Also keep in mind the second you drive off the lot with any new car you lose thousands of dollars in depreciation.

Gas prices are an emotional hot button.
People display fiscally irrational behavior when it comes to gas prices.

But, right now most car companies will give you $2000 off sticker anyway.
Some give rebates, some give financing, some give gas cards, some give big trade ins, it’s all about the bottom line and what your real total cost is.
