# Buying a 1999 3000gt VR-4, changing tranny to automatic...

Expensive not really. A new short block from a dealer is only 2300. Race heads cost the same amount. Pain in the ass to work on, if you dunno how to turn a wrench. Decent miles? 120k is about average I see on models from 91. I see them all the time under 100k. A vette tranny will never work unless your a few people who have the 5L stroker. I know 100’s of people who daily drive turbo models its not as bad as people think.

butt hurt? No sorry thats you after your dad had his way with you. Now people telling someone incorrect info? Yes I will argue that. Oh yeah and the few fast is pretty much every turbo model out there because its not stock. Heck 400hp is only 100 bucks away with them.
