Ok, I am sure I want a doberman, after getting some good advice from people on here and in the ‘real world’ :naughty: I’ve wanted one my whole life, but the rents wouldn’t allow it, so now that I have my own house I am…plus puppies are going from 1K-1600 a pup and that’s just way too much money for me to spend on a pup right now/ever? I found this one at a local doberman rescue…Anyone know of any other rescue centers/volunteer centers around Western PA? He is cute as hell man,u can,t get him? There is one on the north shore,animal rescue laugue. One also in 84 PA. ---

I’ve adopted in the past, not really an issue… They just ask if there are little kids in the house, etc… With him living by himself in a house, it shouldn’t really be an issue I wouldn’t think. ---

i got my cat from the animal rescue on the north shore. they didnt give me a hard time. but then again, dogs are diff than cats. hes cute as hell. did u look in the pennysaver? if u dont get it try [www.pittsburghpennysaver.com](http://www.pittsburghpennysaver.com) and do a search. u can usually get a dobe puppy for like 250-350. but the ones from the shelter are always great to give a home to ---

thanks for the responses guys… I live in Sq. Hill I’ve been to Animal Rescue League in Sliberty/Point Breeze area on Hamilton Avenue, and all they have are Pit’s and Pit mixes…not my interest… I found him here: [http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=5629759](http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=5629759) I’ve been seearching on petfinder for a month now, I actually emailed these people about 3 weeks ago and no response, so thanks to sonny I finally got a phone number for this place and left them a v-mail on monday. So, I am waiting a response… I found several different ones. I dont’ really need a cropped one, but a docked one is a must. You guys want to give me pointers on doggie insurance for health purposes and where to attain this, and a good vet? I think I have a crate to help him train at first (thanks Pete) 🙂 Anything else beside toys and a leash i should get/consider? ---

a vaccum and pet odor remover for the carpets… and yes… he will mark his territory EVERYWHERE at first… 😉 I’ll show him the ropes! ---

All adoptions require an application, a home visit and a contract. **No inquiries, including phone calls, will be processed without a completed application.** You can fill out the application here. You probably haven’t gotten a response because you haven’t filled out an application. When adopting a dog, they want your yard to be fenced in. ---
