# buying a watch online?

i want to get the gf a watch for christmas. it’s a lot cheaper online. i’ve never shopped for one online aside from just looking at pics of watches i like.
i want to get her the movado kara watch. it’s nothing crazy. i have seen it for around 250 online at [jacobtime.com](http://jacobtime.com) and [jtvwatches.com](http://jtvwatches.com). anyone have experience with these? i need to make this purchase today or tomorrow and i just don’t want to buy from a shady place.

DAMNIT! I like that for my gf but i know she would cry about the no numbers.
Anyhow from my experiences I have just brought the online printout to a few local dealers and one of them will be willing to at least come very close to the price. I am comfortable paying a few $ more to have someone to take it back to when I have an issue/support local business.

she’ll just be happy it’s a movado. i think at the price this is set at, they’ll laugh me out of the store. i don’t really care about taking it back somewhere. i hear what you’re saying though.

I bought my gf a movado kara last year.
[Jomashop.com](http://Jomashop.com), they are awesome to work with, and they gift wrap the entire thing real nice.
They were the cheapest price I could find also.

this place is a little cheaper than the one you recommend. however, if no one else can vouch for the places i found, i might just feel safer buying it from jomashop.

It was worth it to get it wrapped real nice, they wrapped it in a velvet thing, really nicer than anything I could have done.

Yea out here people have too much expendable income for whatever reason so im sure the place sells tons of high end watches so he dosent mind selling stuff at great prices to people he likes. After I bought my first watch from him(the owner) we went to a bar down the street and got loaded lol.
