# Buying an out of state vehicle

I talked to the dealer this afternoon. they do offer temporary tags/transit permits, so that shouldn’t be a problem. What I didn’t realize was that i had to pay tax in BOTH states, which flat out fucking blows. I’ll have to look into how hard it is to get that refund from Texas.  
EDIT: dealer said i DONT pay tax there…only when I get back to my state :shrug:
