# Buying cars from Quebec?

i don’t know why people make such a big deal about this. it works the same except you don’t get pulled over to check it anymore.

you still don’t need a safety to get a temp permit as long as the car you’re buying has a “fit” title.

the only difference is that you have to pay tax when you get your trip permit instead of later… but really - who cares?
