So I’m on my way home from New Era today, in the vette and I notice a nice black cobra drive by in front of me. Nice, I think to myself. I’m sitting at the red light with him in front of me and my buddy Matt in his m3 behind me. Matt gets caught up in some traffic and catches the next red light. Friggen I think to myself as I pull over to wait for him, as the nice cobra drives on. I pull out in front of Matt and continue towards the highway on our way home. I notice the cobra driving towards me now, and he throws a throttle blip as he drives by. I of course don’t him to miss the sweet note of the all mighty ls1 so I blip him back. By the on ramp of the 490 he is right behind Matt’s M3. I’m thinking, its go time on zee high way. We line up at 40~50 and he honks off three, I jump out ahead a car or so and pull a few more. Nice. Race two, he honks off three rear fast as i’m about a 1/2 car to his side, in the wrong gear but manage to keep up and pull up to his bumper or so. Last race I honk three and we take off again. I pull maybe a car or so, but there is a car in his lane so he slows. Awesome runs, fast car cool guy. We pull up next to each other going about 50 and his passenger asks if i’m on the spray. I say I have it but I didn’t use it. (Which I didn’t) We give each other the thumbs up and he jumps off the off ramp. :tup: I have a soft spot in my heart for the cobras. 🙂 ---
