No matter what you say about the GT500, c16, a big twin screw or turbo and alot of boost will have no problem making 1000rwhp on the stock short block…
oh and it will last.
SOLID REAR AXLE FTW, when it’s a straight line car, which the GT500 is of course.

it will last, but not very long
and on a twin screw alone may be close, even for a 3.4 whipple that is a lot of power to make on a twin screw alone. probably would need a shot of the sauce to make 1000rwhp on a screw blower

What are “stock” GT500s running in the 1/4mi. on average? I hear 12.8 down to 12.0 NO MODS AT ALL. Does that sound correct?
…and who puts meth/water injection on a roots or twin screw blower??

would be nice to see from a stop if the Shelby had some Slicks.
In a 5.0 mag I got awhile back a GT500 ran low 11s with MT DRs, headers, pulley, exhaust, intake, and tune. I think it was puttin down 550ish rwhp.
