Okay so I’m going to start sourcing some parts form my CA that I’m going to rebuild this coming winter. What all should I be looking for? Thanks in advance! edit: Actually more or less what I want to know is are there any companys that still make internals for the CA? I was thinking about going the CA20 route. Also things like headbolts, and all the gaskets. For these can I just order the CA18DE parts? ---

arp has head bolts, but there is a huge back order on them greddy/trust make con rods tomei makes con rods, pistons, cams, cam gear, springs, retainers, timing belt hks makes cams and gears and there are a few other companies out that that make pistons, mostly from australia Bone stock motor Garrett GT28R 444cc GT-R injectors Horsham stage 3 chip Blitz I-D color EBC FET coil pack XS Power FMIC XS Power turbo manifold XS Power down pipe Megan Racing exhaust HKS SSQV recirculated HKS Power filter Z32 MAF Walboro 255 fuel pump a guy on nico ran that set up at 18psi and hit 290whp. so with a decent build you should be able to hit 320ish i think ---

like $175-200 i think i know my friend chris was waiting on those for months until he got so pissed he ordered them off ebay and they rarely come up on there ---

wait it out …it will be worth it … its good you are planning ahead incase any sourcing problems get in the way ---

Yeah I figured I might end up having some problems finding parts so I have between now and January to find them all. Typhoon, you got anything parts-wise for a CA for sale? ---

not for rebuild …but I have a few extra headgasket and maintenance stuff like that just incase Rob might have some rebuild stuff and a better idea where to go to get parts ---

i can prolly mail the headbolts to edmonton for like $135 tax in…they are through my shop here in calgary. I had ordered them for my cousin but he got pissed off and just went with stock ones to get his car back on the road…let me know ---

I just ordered the sr main stud kit, it’s the same thing. Check on nico, i know there’s a thread about this
