anyone know the clearances to adjust valves for an 89 s13 with a ca18det, doesnt seem to be in the fsm. i have to change the valve cover gaskets so i figured out while im in there i would go over the top end, never being done before during my time owning it.

Adjustments cannot be done as they are hydraulic lifters. If they don’t click while running or just a little at start-up its fine. If nothing sounds out of the ordinary or it runs good don’t mess around with them. They are a no-service part.
