# cable dsl? for yens

how hard is it to set up my computer to host a webpage with cable dsl?. What all do i do the only thing on it is 98se and front page do i need to run anything else or can i just load it as a home page ? i got frontpage2000 if that changes anything

It may not be fast enough unless you pay for a shit load of speed. I know I was talking to some people about this for us and jenn to do back in november and it just wasn’t worth it…

you can run a quick and dirty website with the simple server from [www.analogx.com](http://www.analogx.com) . Just point it to your HTML and off you go. Most DSL or Cable connections will limit you to 128k upstream, so it’s good for some light duty hosting, but nothing permanent.
