# cable ebrake problem

hey i just put factory cable ebrake and i put it where its suppose to be and i tightened it all the way and it doesnt lock up the rears the cable isnt stretched i looked at the calipers and the ebrake arm is moving is there any place under the car where i can tighten to make it lock up let me know

Is it locking in the air? Does it hold the car?

It’s a bone simple system, also keep in mind your not going to get much force from cranking on a cable e-brake, the power just isn’t there.

it doesn’t take much force to lock rear tires though.

Are you sure ur cables are not stretched. There is no other adjustment. So either your cables are stretched, or ur calipers, pads rotors are not good.
