I need to create a mesh. I have a spline and basically need a mesh thats the shape of the spline, not a square mesh inside the spline. Kind of like ofsetting the spline progressivly smaller and doing a rulesurf between each offset. I need it to be a mesh so that I can edit it in 3DSMax.

anyone\>?

Thanks in advance…

Are saying the problem is… you draw a 3D object with a ‘surface’, export it to a .3ds format, and then try importing it to 3dsmax where it isn’t interpreted as a surface, but as splines? In otherwords, you can’t apply a material/bitmap to it?
