# caliper painting rice or not?

Thats how i had my z brakes on the 240, then shoot it with clear coat.

yeah i dont think its rice at all… its not like you paint them and write BAER on a stock caliper. LOL

i think its nice to have painted calipers… it helps “break up” the lines of the car and color scheme. maybe not so much lines of the car but it does change the appearance, in subtle ways tho. it attracts your attention away from other aspects of the car. its good to make everything seem to fit one common color theme of the car.

for instance, i got a black car with red interior… i was gonna roll with this theme, keepin the car black and the interior red and black. the motor will be red and black as well. the wheels i was thinking black with polished lip ZR1’s. the red calipers will help bring out the detail of that area of the car and catch your attention, and it will flow with the rest of the red/black theme.
