He’s not making any excuses…He is clearly stating the information in the beginning of the video is incorrect. I don’t see any excuses at all.

Yes I did not make any excuses. I stated what was wrong factually with the video. I wanted a base line run against a cam ls1 before I begin to mod.
Please show me where I made excuses? Stating FACTS is not making excuses.

HAHAHAHA!!! Well I guess everyone has a cammed car now… Stock internals means stock reguardess of what motor.
It was a Cammed,gear’d,bolt ons Bird vs a Bolt ons Z…

He has the factory cam in the car from the showroom…how are you calling that cammed??? Its just a completely different motor.

I put the information in the video from what I was told. Not my problem sorry.
Video did not fail, there was just a misunderstanding I guess.
I am not familiar with these cars, the whole LS# is new to me.

I was told the car has an intake as well as being tuned by new era and having in the neighborhood of high 370’s rwhp… i could have swore it has a varam or whatever its called as him and choko were discussing it. He also showed up to run me with wheels that do not even belong to him, and anyone who knows shit about cars and racing knows that taking off some rotating mass WILL make a difference. I picked up 3-4 mph by switching my C5’s out for weld skinnies at the track. I see no reason for any drama. They were good runs, the Z06 is a fast car and he is a stand up guy :tup:.
here is my mods list for anyone who cares:
231/237 cam
fast intake
full exhaust
3.73 gears (9 inch rear)
lid
car is tuned with 28\* of timing and AFR’s are 11.1-11.3 range :lol:
EDIT:
As per WNYfbody, he has a vortex intake.

Thanks JT, at least us two realize it was a great fun run and doesn’t need this drama. You have a powerful trans am, best run I’ve had so far :carnut Ditto on the great guy :tup: Next time I’ll keep this on WNY Fbody lol
