Matt, I consider both you and Greg friends of mine, so my comments below are completely unbiased and not meant to bash you. I see people legitimately wanting to see you succeed and taking a personal interest in helping you reach your goal. I hope you see this through all the ball busting. What you do with your money is 100% your and Rita’s business, no one else’s. However, I think you fail to see that posting your financials, even as minimal as “I don’t have $xxx until the spring”, allows people into your private life. You can’t honestly expect to not receive comments about how you spend your money based on the limited info you allow people to see. Ultimately, it’s a forum: EVERYONE has a comment. It’s how you react to those comments that makes people come back for more. How’s the savings going towards your CDL? Have you decided to not get it? Did you inherit $$ that is being set aside until the spring? Answering any/all of these question will allow people to understand your intent. That or don’t post any of it. ---
