rings seal better when they have high loads. “beating” on it is helping. what exactly is “breaking in”? ring seal, okay, thats done within the first few days. thats done before you take delivery. break in the bearings? uhhh, i dont think so. break in tq on fasteners? ummm…no… DRIVE IT !!! ---

I can understand letting gears in a transmission and rear end get a good wear pattern before abuse, but 1300 miles does seem sort of random. Where did that number come from? ---

You can run it anytime your ready. Figure the car is under warranty if for some unknown reason something did break. The rings are as “broken in” as there gonna get. The tranny & gears only need approx 500 miles for a pattern to set. But hey, you gotta make the payments, so you do it when your ready. Peace… On the other hand, I wouldnt mind racing the Colbalt.😉 ---

First i wasnt next to him he was a lane away, and when you sitting in the middle of the intersection i dont think your racing. Cause first you should be able to stop before that little white line before you can go fast. Also he wasnt half throttle he was full, he chirped the tires shifting and thats the only reason i knew he was going. Hell Ill give him a car head start and this time ill launch and I bet i walk him down. My car might not be fast but its faster then a stock 05 gt, basically been there done that. Yes i want to line up and no it wont be a waste of gas, well for the mustang, more like for me. Chris ill race ya, its cool, i would like to see tune vs tune, and i know your a good sport about it.(have you gotten anything else done, im supposed to go to innovative for meth, bigger front mount and new clutch end of october once im back from my honeymoon) Chris is right considering we both are modded an 05 gt will be easy for both of us. I want to line up whenever blazin isnt scared of a 4 cyl anymore ---

also no its not going twin charge, we are swapping out the sc for the turbo. Looking like late winter early spring now, entirely up to Mike. pshinx, i think i saw you drivin around in the Ton/Am area yesterday. I love the car though. I only ever see yours(i think) and Geoff’s though, i know there are more around. ---

not sure. Basically Im letting Mike and innovative go to town. Sounds like they are going with whatever can fit in the space they are given. I havent been researching them much. I will strat soon. But again Im going to let mike go to town on the car Also unless Blazin did that cool new Gm LS7 into the Ford body swap he has no where near double my whp. Just a thought ---

I never said my car was gods gift to cars. It is not slow though. Although it is slower then most cars on here. Except a stock 05 gt. Also Mike and Innovative are the key to it ebing faster now, and also getting much faster over the next few months. Also im not 16, the reason i got this car is because it was affordable, its got a somewhat strong engine that I can do some affordable modding to and have some fun with. I like to autocross and it was the perfect new car to autocross with in this price range. Also what I mean by affordable was because I get the gm discount and it was under 19000 tax and tags. Its fun for me, especially getting married in under 3 weeks and needing to save some money. Its cheap to mod and still reliable and fun to drive for me. Would I rather have an evo, hell yeah. But I dont have the extra money for the payments and the modding I would want to do, so that will be a little bit further in the future. ---
