im looking to buy a fairly beat 240 as long as the exterior is pretty clean. so anyone know alot about these cars that can help me learn about them so i dont go out looking for one blind? ---

check for rust in strut tower, rear hatch, and rocker panels. rear wheel wells. water gets in on hatches on the rear passenger side… Im sure someone else will chime in. also, prices went up alot on these cars. what body style u looking for? ---

That shouldn’t be a problem finding a car in that range. I paid $1500 for my 92 base model coupe. I flew down do Dallas and drove it back up. Not one spec of rust on it. I sold it last May for $1750 My 89 coupe was a southern car as well. I got it for $425 with a bad engine. No rust on it either. I put a new engin ein it and sold it for $1600 to buy my turbo SE-R back. I would definately look for a southern car since rust is the major issue with older cars. You can swap in an RB or an SR engine down the road if the KA is getting tired. ---

so spend an extra couple bux and import something not played out…every 240 i see now the owners like “dood i’m tottally getting an sr20 swap” and i’m like “doood i’m totally cool cuz i dont have to swap motors to go jdm” ---
