# Can someone convert a HD MiniDV tape to Reguar Def

I have my daughters christening on tape, but the lady who did it shot it in HD and I don’t have a camera that can play HD. Does anyone have the ability to transfer it to the computer for me or on another Standard Def tape?

can take it to some photo stores and they can convert it to dvd.  
wally world does it (or used to when i worked their photo dept) for 20bux, takes 2 weeks.

Damn, 2 weeks? I’d much prefer to pay someone local to do it and have it the same day.

yea, there’s local places that do it… no idea how long it takes though.  
you can buy converters and stuff, but it’s pretty pointless if you only have one tape to do since they cost 200+  
worth it if you have a ton though…
