alright there top cop, keep your shirt on. If a cop is put in the position to put his life in danger because he has to go 120 down central ave because im running he doesnt give a flying fuck about his fender when he tries to clip my rear end. i think if your stupid enough to just go out and hit shit in your cop car for fun with the town/states name on the side you have no business being that car anyway. while police work is very paper intensive they know that coming in and from the cops i know the general drift is they document it to protect themselfs from suit. your buddy hid his cop car??? im not going to question the credibility of that because its just stupid. Now having a cop buddy chase you around some back roads late at night isnt anything new… sorry all your cop buddys have no back bone… and sorry that i think iv already got my guy im going to try and do it asap and ill let the board know.

I never claimed to be “top cop” or the all knowing being, though I have more experience in certain areas then most and I can share my experiences and knowledge with others and hopefully they can do the same with me, its how a community grows and gains strength. If I see someone make BS comments, I call them, it doesn’t help them or anyone else to allow it to slide with out question. If I claimed to jump the grand canyon on a 125, I’d be upset if someone didn’t question me, when I make a statement, I only make it if I have enough information to support it. I think 4adam12 will vouche for my credibility and the fact that I have lived through truly bizarre situations, things that are so hard to believe I wouldn’t even dream of brouching the subject on a forum. I often forget how “unusual” my life has been, I find myself in very odd situations fairly often and sometimes forget the people I’m talking with have no clue about my history.
Of course if an officer is persuing someone and the car is to be damaged its not the first thing the officer is concerned about, however, the post I quoted made a broad statement about cops beating their cars because they don’t have to pay to fix them when that couldn’t be further from the truth. They will not abuse their vehicles just for the sake of abuse, sure it does happen but those are isolated cases and just wouldn’t happen with troopers, they are too selective and the jobs are too desireable to tolerate poor judgement from the troopers.
Now to your allegations, I never said he was my buddy, it was a trooper who used to come to the shop I owned, where we serviced trooper/BCI vehicles, he and I were friendly with each other but not friends; I clearly said we had a good relationship, it was a professional relationship nothing more. You must not know who I am, which is fair enough, but why would I make up a story as dumb as that if I were to make a story up, a trooper hid his trooper car for a period of time while he gathered the parts to repair it, to ensure his promotion was not delayed, what’s hard to believe about that? Its hardly far fetched, not any outlandish claims on my part, just a situation that happened and I felt it was relevant as an example of how far they go out of their way to prevent physical damage from their vehicles.
There is no need to appologize to me about my police friends having integrity and being honest hard working officers. I take a lot of pride in knowing that the ones I would call “friends” have a very high level of moral and ethical values and won’t make rash, career altering decisions based on some fools egging them on. I’d go as far as calling any cop who would behave like that spineless. As a police officer they are there to serve and protect, not impress friends and organize races, anyone who would encourage these activities is just as guilty as the officer commiting them.

WHATS THE POINT…WHO CARES…
Jesus Christ people. who fricking cares if so and so thinks he or she can outrun the cops. you know what i say when i hear crap like that on the news or it other channels of communication? “fucking idiots” because guess what… you are.
If you cant somehow manage to follow simple traffic laws, and, in the event that you break them, can’t come to terms with having to deal with the consequences of your actions, then there are alot more things in life you need to worry about that “can I outrun the cops” The fact that this thread was even created is a sign that some people just don’t get the important things in life. Time to give up the dukes of hazzard vigilante dreamboy bullshit and actually think before thoughts escape your mouth/computer.

Some of you have some major problems. If I was going to run from the cops, I’d hope I’d be in a Honda Hatch with a fart can because they’d never be able to pick me out from the other 2039409242093942 Honda Hatch’s with fart cans in the Capital District. With that said, the odds of me being in a Honda Hatch is one in a trillion.
