This above is a basic example of things you could do.
A modern car has an internal network similar to a computer network you can send packets out onto the network and control just about anything.

Cars have been doing this with the key from the factory for at least 14 years. Some other stuff sounds “neat” but nothing all too useful at this point.

Yup… airbag sensing the weight in order to enable or disable the passenger airbag.

Kinda like what we do in the newer bmw community with a program called NCS expert. Allows coding of the individual computers in the car. Anything from turning off airbags to automatically rolling up windows if it rains. Pretty cool this guy is making one for all types of cars.
