my windows antivirus doesnt even bring it up! i downloaded adaware hijack this which both identified it but could not remove it, 87buickgn (mike) gave me a hand and cleaned up my computer a bit =)
i cannot find a free program to remove it, i have found a few programs but they all want 40$
any thoughts?
\*\*just downloaded freefixer until it said that it doesnt support 64 bit windows =(

Where is the file located? If it’s in the C:\windows or \system32 Windows may think it’s a system file. Although EXE isn’t a common system file 😛

also try malwarebytes anti-malware. Whatever you do, start your computer in safe mode with networking before scanning.

actually malwarebytes works better in Regular mode…so if you can help it run it in normal mode first, if that fails then do safe mode.
