Joe, I know you are a pretty smart guy. I do heavily respect your financial/economic knowledge on this site and you seem to have a fairly comprehensive grasp on how politics work in this country (and the entire world for that matter). But you are fucking crazy if you think this is right. Judging strictly from how you generally post, I have no idea how you are such a Dem. And for the record, I feel BED does get carried away with his “conspiracy theories” quite often, but hes pretty dead on here. buzzkill out! ---

This is probably the most dishonest bill I can ever remember. They know that profits and income are down and tax revenue is not there so they tax something they know Americans can’t do without - heat/electricity DURING A BAD RECESSION NO LESS!!! They have reached a new low by a mile. This is DISGUSTING! Way to totally fuck the people of your country. This dishonesty is proof that they know the healthcare bill has no legs. DISPICABLE! I am praying this bill has no chance in the Senate. ---

Kennedy came out of fucking rehab to get this thing passed! House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) called the energy and climate control bill her “flagship issue.” Congress-watchers say that Pelosi took a gamble by bringing the bill to the floor with the outcome in question. I hope this “flag ship” sinks her and everyone else that voted for it. They are fucking this country right to hell. ---
