# Car and Driver "08 Lightning Lap" test results just released ...

Look at the most recent ring lap times. Viper is 4 seconds faster then the ZR1, which is several seconds quicker then the ZR1. I would like to see the ZR1 do it again with the same tires as the Viper. I’d be willing to bet that it’d match the Vipers time.

Wait… so Dodge actually decided to put a little thought into the new Viper? Thats impressive. They don’t put much thought into anything… I’ll have to find someone with an ACR and take it for a spin. I have driven my friends 99 Viper many times, I hate that car. His brother just bought an 06, I dont think its an ACR though… I haven’t even seen the car yet.
