# Car Feels Without Power

Ok here’s whats happening i have 91 hatchback and i can be driving along and at about 55 and just under 80 the tach with freeze at the rpm its at and it feels like the car just dropped to 700 rpm (tach doesnt move). So i give it more gas and it does nothing i put the gas to the floor and it downshifts and fixes the problem for the time being. Now i have tried this without giving it gas when it does this to see what happens and my car looses speed and then about 15-20 sec later boom i got power again and the car kicks in. Anyone have any idea what this would be its only done it at those 2 speeds as of right now and i have an automatic tranny if anyone is thinking about a tranny problem. Thanks

_edit_ i am completely stock except for a 3 inch k’n filter with an adapter
