I just bought this car, and it is getting so much gas that its like dripping out of the flange for the cat and the downpipe. Anyways it runs really rough too, but it has a dead battery and the alternator is shot for it, and i was going to wait till i put on the extra one i have but, its just not right, i mean its getting WAY to much gas.

to elaborate on the running rough, like shaking the whole car, like intense shaking. oh and its a 1990 w/ a 95 engine in it

alright, yea its way to cold for me to work on the car right now, its freakin snowing out, whats the easiest way to get to the alternator, i’m thinking jack the car up a little and go from underneath, from aboves its like a tangled mess of everything.
