# Car of the Month : Rules Regulations

Car of the Month (I use the term, Car, loosely.)
**Rules:**
1. Nominations will be open the first week of the month. Voting will be open for the second week of the month. The top 5 nominations will compete for COTM (top 5 based on number of nominations per vehicle).
2. Each member can nominate another member, or themselves. And each member can only nominate one person per month, and only your first nomination counts, so you can’t change your mind who you want to nominate. You can only run for car of the month once, every 6 months. And you can only win Car of the Month once a year.
3. The nominees will be contacted the Friday that the nominations close, and be asked to submit a few pictures of their ride, as well as a list of mods for their vehicle (which will be posted during the polls). (if you do not respond by the Sunday night before polls, your nomination position will be forfeited).
4. The poll will begin the 2nd week of the month, and will last 1 week. (Monday morning 8am, through Sunday evening 8pm) Once the winner is decided, they must submit a small write up, as well as any other pictures of their vehicle.
5. Members must have more than 30 Pittspeed posts, to run for Car of the Month. And members must be BAN FREE for at least a month, prior to nominations.
6. Vehicles nominated must be road worthy.
-All the dates and cut-off times will be announced via this thread.
-All nominations must be submitted via Private Message to myself.
-Notifications will also be transmitted via PM.
-Nominated vehicles will remain secret until the time of voting. (All nominations are counted and recorded)

**The first month will be May.**
Nominations will be accepted now through Friday April 6th.
Polls will begin Monday April 9th, until Friday April 13th.
For the month of May, there will be no vehicle class, so it is open to all vehicles.

I like the idea, but don’t like the whole whom ever has the most friends nominate them wins idea. The cars should be picked based on the cars.

then how should the cars be chosen? and whos gonna chose them?
if a car is chosen to run, they cant run again for 6 months.
