ok my 240sx overheated a bit the other nite and she stalled when i came to a stop sign and i couldent get it started it was turning over compleatley but still wouldent start so i tryed to turn the key again and it sounds like the part of the starter that gose on the fly wheel isent clicken or whatever it is i aint great with cars but i tryen to use the words buddys were sayen lol like the car turns over just dosent seem to wonna run when i jump start the car it started but it boggs a bit at low rpm so after i jump start it and i turn it off i can start it with the key like once then if i try again it just turns over again i duno whats up with her please help me my 240s sick also when i goto turn on my heat nothing but cold air come out of my vents even when my car is overheating just cold air comes in i dont even have my A/C connected ---

what coulda messed up like worped head or something o and when i do jump start it it back fire like crazy ---

It’s hard to tell based on what we’ve been given. Check the coolant indeed, but i’d say just stop driving the car as much as possible and get it to a shop to be looked at as soon as you can. Driving + overheating = damage = $$… Could possibly be a head gasket issue if you’re noticing white smoke/power loss. Hopefully it’s something minor! Good luck. ---

like ites wierd u no when u goto turn to key to start ur car and u hear everything turning over well when i go do it its l;ike missing a sound that used to be there when it was turning over its like something isent turning with the rest of the motor that was befor i duno i make it vary complicated to explain sorry everyone plus i cant spell for shit ---

i dunno, but if it makes a noise that is unusual like a piece of flapping plastic…then…altenator? happened to me last week. had to friggin parellel park manually in DT toronto. ---

i think i blew i head gasket EHHHH but im lucky cuz the girl im seeing rite now her uncle is a NASCAR genius lol and drag racing genius he raced rocket trucks and shit should be interesting he said we r gonna built my motor up all nascar style useing graphite headgaskets ands tuff its gonna be sweet ---

we cant jump start it now and when we get it oing for a few secs its like oly 2 cylinders r going and its just puffs of white smoke ---

Yup, head gasket. Make sure whoever fixes it does it right, it’ll impact reliability in the long run. Good luck. ---

Actually have you made sure that the belt for the alt/water pump is still there and turning? The fact that it won’t run unless hooked to another battery/car and the fact it overheated could easily be attributed to that… And of course the lack of a sound that was there before… ---

well we hooked up a booster cables and another car and it still woundent run and ya the belts r all there and turning i duno tomorrow im gonna look more in depth with it.
