Ugh, Buffalo Miata Club. I was a member on their FB group for a minute, but then realized that most Miata owners are childish weirdos or super old people. Not a fan. ---

We are dysfunctional here, but Miata people are a rare breed. It’s 16 year old kids with beater Miatas asking dumb questions or old people asking if they can tow their Miata behind an RV. I decided a long time ago to not be part of any specific car “club”, it’s such a strange thing to only socialize with people who own a certain type of car. ---

Back in the UBRF days, I met some lifelong friends in the j-body clubs. It must be harder today, because just about everything has been done and now we are the curmudgeons with “deep” pockets that know how to make cars fast. I will never forget going to bubble tea to try and get some UBRF’er help with my massively misfiring under boost cavalier. Nobody knew shit, unless it was how to boost a civic or strip interiors 😃 ---
