These are good events for me these days. A nice enough drive there and back, but still leaves enough of the day to get plenty of other things done. Getting older…it’s tough… ---

Most of the people I’ve spoke with there don’t carry this mentality. I’ve had more people interested in my Fox Mustang and what I’ve done with the car than any other I-built-it-meets I’ve frequented. Also, this is a prefect venue to get up and close with a lot of cars that you just don’t see everyday…old school Porsche, Ferrari, the ocassional Lambo, Pantera, etc. ---

I would take a TON of pride in knowing that saving and hard work earned me that car, and as a car guy I would get excited to show it off and be around likeminded people, even if the car carries no additional merit from a custom one-off build perspective. At the same time, I completely get what you mean. ---
