Thats essentially one more step up from Sasha…
Malcolm (for those who know him) races in that league…
He drives a vette, and most of those camaros are full fiberglass shells on tubed frame bodies. Likewise, that truck is ALSO a full fiberglass shell on a tube framed body, and it hauls ass…
Among those who compete in the class are some FD’s, VWs, Porsches, Ferraris, and some others I’m forgetting…
Go out to one of those events and you wont be saying they’re hickish, many of those cars have as much technology in them then anything you would see on the street.
Don’t knock the truck, that thing would blow your doors off and pretty much everyone else on here, ask Sash…
The imports generally outnumber domestics on a given race weekend, however the domestics dominate OCC…

i think the car that the video is filmed in is a 98 ITR and a guy name Alec owns and drives…

I think that 'Teg is the former Kensai Racing car.
It’s now owned by a guy named Jason - I believe he’s from Retro Rockets. And yes, he’s been close to number one all season this year.
(video was from '05)
I think the #1 guy he was chasing all year drove a Supra.
I could be wrong though, the ITR is a very popular road race car.
The reason for the number of crashes is simply the number of cars that are out in a single field. I’ve heard upwards of 70 cars - when everyone from Quebec shows up as well.
Way less track available compared to the GT guys.

Yea the Type R in this Video belongs to a guy named Alec, he has had the car for a while, it used to be his road car which he converted… He does very well in the series… One of my friends (Chris Haley mentioned at the end of the video) helps with his pit crew.
And the Yellow Supra was a stupid fast car, but always came in last… I dont know who dominated GT1 that yr but Armstorng Motorsports won GT2 and i think Alec came top 5…

It looks like a combination of Mosport and a few other tracks, Shannonville is on there too I believe.
