# Catilytic converter

I am having a problem with my catilytic converter, it is throwing a code. a few shops say that i must use a direct fit for my car or other wise the engine light will stay on. does any one have expeirence with toyota celicas and putting a univirsal fit on them? let me know. i have a 2001 celica gt model.
