True and i also just started my way to doing about the same thing you do to help build my credit. I like Howies transfers for 0% as well lol. Its all about MANAGING your credit. ---

My CC is a little under 9k right now, but i used a cash advance for a good part of my new jeep in May. On top of that most of my car mods from this year and _everything_ for my jeep was on there at one point or another. I have a stupid low interest rate, so the way i look at it is my CC is basically my loan for the jeep… oh well ---

[/quote] yeah, I was gonna say the same thing. my intrest rate is something like 9%… but once when a good friend was in town (military) we were going to hit the canadian ballet. I was pretty broke at the moment and checked into getting a cash advance and they wanted like 32% interest or something crazy like that :tdown: ---

i probably spend $70,000 + a year on my CC without paying a cent of interest. although, i was late on payments twice in the past 24 months and might have accumulated about $60 in interest… i was pissed. ---

[/quote] nope, my cash advance is the same as credit. They’re actually " convenience checks" I get a little booklet of checks that i can use and they are the same interest as swiping plastic. I wrote myself a check for $XXXX and cashed it at my bank, went back the next day and took out my money, paid for the jeep USAA\> all ---

i have 1000 dollars debt right now. i owe it to my mom. although they have not payed a dime of anything she took over managing my money and now all my bills are payed on time and i even have a nice amount of cash in my bank account. ---

the concept of debt does not require carrying a balance. It’s basically anytime somebody gives you something that’s not a gift. ---
