how much is it to get it released from the rogers network?? If its possible and reasonably i’d be interested in the v70 ---

i believe it costs like 25$ but youd have to call to find out, who r u with? ---

I’m with telus right now. But I had asked about other network cell phones, they said I can put it on the telus network as long as it has been released from what ever network the phone was activated thru. Now certain companies like Bell never allow releasing of phones, I will see if I get a chance to call rogers and find out if they will allow it. I will let you know!! Unless if you get a chance to call. 🙂 ---

Jay you cant use these phones. telus and bell are a CDMA network. (old school but good) fido and rogers are GSM the phones can be unlocked to be used on the fido network but thats useless for you as they would never work with telus or bell. ---

Thats what my buddy was telling me too, he works for bell. I was sure someone at the telus place told me that as long as the phone was unlocked it was good to go. That sux, i wanted that phone!! :? oh and switching to rgoers isn’t an option!! Bell maybe, but I just finished another year of my contract and 2 more to go!!
