# Cell Phones through Amazon..

I’m looking into new plans and phones since my plan is up real soon. I see on Amazon they have some ridiculous offers and rebates that are good only with activation of a service plan of XX.XX or more. The last time I got a phone it was just whatever, I walked into Verizon and walked out with a POS phone and plan. How does this activation rebate work in terms of going through Amazon? Do they send me the rebate form and its only redeemable with proof of plan through the carrier?

bestbuy usually has amazing deals on thanksgiving. that’s when/where i always get my phones. (by “amazing” i mean, a free $200 phone and at least $50 in gift cards)
