looking for something cheap just to run DSMLink, my 17" Toshiba doesnt fit to well in the car. Must be able to hold a charge, and it would be nice to get something with a DB9 serial port but if its cheap and at least has USB i could live with that.

I have a 13" widescreen sony Vaio with I think 2 batteries I will sell for $100 but I am in Rochester. It has XP on it and runs great

I have an HP that has issue where it will restart sometimes (even after formatting). Not sure what the issue is but the majority of the time it works. 15.4", great condition no smoke, USB no serial. Runs vista, has the charger, bag, recovery CDs and manual. You could put 7 on it if you want with no problem. 3GB of RAM, webcam, I think it can upgrade to 8GB of RAM. Right now it’s sitting on a shelf.
