hey guys, just wondering where everyone goes to get their flywheels resurfaced, never really had to do it, but i figured it will be cheaper hopefully than buying a new one. its for a 98 civic ex tranny, got a new clutch, and now cant really go any farther until i resurface the flywheel, just seeing if anyone recommends a shop that does good work cheap. thanks guys! ---

Theres a place right off walden near the thruway.I cant think of the name but he was real cheap ---

L&L transmission in batavia… 35$. factor in the gas price though lol. once i went in at the end of the day with cash in hand and got it done for 20$. Brian ---

Dood does good work. Stone grinds the ish too like its supposed to be, not milled like a lot of places do. Not sure how much he charges though. ---

just a little update…went to aamco to get it resurfaced and they were honest with me, it didnt really need to be…they just scuffed it up a bit for me for free…i thought it looked to be in pretty great shape, guess the clutch was done before in my car ---

hopefully the flywheel was machined flat from the factory. ive seen some ones machined with a taper towards the center for smooth clutch engagement. when you have one of those, it HAS to be remachined or the clutch will slip when extra power is applied. Brian
