How do they test the back window if there is indeed a limit?

I know for the fronts they have you roll the window halfway down and then slide a little meter over the glass. You can’t exactly roll your back window down.

I got pulled over by a Amherst cop a couple years ago and he told me he couldn’t give me a tint ticket without metering it. A week later he pulled me over again and had the little meter on him.

It might be worth your time to find out if its law that they meter it before they ticket you as well.

if there was no meter it is in fact a good defense point if you go to **trial**. it may be a factor if you see a prosecutor and say the cop did not Meter the window and want it dropped or go to trail. dont play dumb and dont bluff. get it dropped or pay a 85 dollar surcharge on top of the 20 dollar ticket

you can take it off with just a scraper and simple orange. it takes like 10minutes of time, then just clean it good with windex to get the residue off
